The rich variety of products available from Highlands and Islands’ businesses is one of the industry’s strengths. In this category we are looking for outstanding new products that have been brought to market (domestic or international) since 1st January 2009.

What Judges will be looking for:

Recently launched food and drink products from the Highlands and Islands, which demonstrate both initial market success and ongoing potential. The product development process will also be assessed for staff training, innovation, meeting market need, contribution towards business development and overall product presentation (packaging, placement, marketing materials etc as relevant). Your product may be available locally, nationally or internationally.

Documentation required:

• Describe your new product / product range, how it was developed and launched, and how it meets an identified market requirement (one side of A4 maximum).
• Evidence of market success (e.g. sales figures, orders, listings, media coverage). 3 pages of A4 maximum.
• Brief details of relevant product samples, where applicable. Do NOT send these samples with this entry form; you will be contacted for samples for judging in August.
• A maximum of 4 pages of A4 may be submitted as supporting documentation.
