This new award recognises a young person’s outstanding contribution and achievement in the Highlands and Islands food and drink sector.  The award will recognise and celebrate an individual’s work to develop the industry in the Highlands and Islands.  The award is open to any person aged 30 or under on 1st July 2009.  The individual can either enter themselves or be nominated by a colleague.
