Open to all businesses of any part of the food and drink supply chain, this award is for the Highlands and Islands based business or organisation, which through its use of Highlands and Islands produce, has demonstrably enhanced the organisation’s profile through the development of the local food and drink market. This could be either as a new organisation or a specific development of an existing one, since 1st January 2009.

Young Ambassador of the Year Award

This award recognises a young person’s outstanding contribution and achievement in the Highlands and Islands food and drink sector.  The award will recognise and celebrate an individual’s commitment and work to develop the industry in the Highlands and Islands.  The award is open to any person aged 25 or under on 1st June 2009.  The individual can either enter themselves or be nominated by an employer, colleague, mentor etc.
